There are most often two sides to everything, I am no different, my world is imaginative, creative and beautiful. Being a corporate trainer, ballroom dance instructor and an amateur butterfly conservationist encompasses my world!
The journey of my endeavours started in 2002, when I created Delhi’s first unique dance studio – Ballrumours DanceSport Studio. At the Studio aspirants can learn Social Ballroom and Latin Dancing in 16 different styles. Each dance style has subtle nuances, that come through in our training for aspirants. Using dance as a key tool, the routines go beyond the norm and subtly focus on Personality Development, Team Building and Stress Management!
Over the years we have successfully trained more than 15000 enthusiasts, including Bureaucrats, Corporate Executives, Differently-abled Children, Diplomats, Doctors, Engineers and Indian Armed Forces Personnel.
After focusing on my dance journey and connecting with so many people from varied walks of life, one such conversation awakened my inner desire to be with nature and to do for nature. In 2017, listening to this calling I began our conservation project – Rewild Life Biodiversity Farm. This haven is spread over 12 acres and nurtures over 70 species of plants and 4500 native trees. The habitat is vibrant with a variety of butterflies, bees, birds and microbial activity.
The ethos of Rewild Life is deeply based on my personal philosophy, that our most meaningful contribution to today’s world is creating beautiful havens of nature that value human health and respect the environment.
